Prevailing Hope provides a nurturing, academically rich environment for non-speaking, minimally speaking, and unreliably speaking students. Using innovative communication tools like letterboards, they offer a full educational curriculum—including language arts, math, science, history, and more—tailored to the unique needs of each student. Their integrated approach also includes therapeutic art, music, and purposeful motor activities to foster the mind-body connection.
Operating three days a week, this in-person and soon-to-be-online school is more than just an educational space—it’s a lifeline for families and a powerful reminder of what makes Ocala special: a community that cares and uplifts all of it's members.  As Ocala grows, it’s vital that we champion programs that make our neighborhoods inclusive and compassionate.
